Refund policy

Shiny Objects gladly accepts returns, exchanges and cancellations under the following conditions:
- Contact us requesting the return or exchange within 7 days of delivery
- We only replace items if determined to be either defective or damaged.
- Ship item back at your own cost within 10 days of delivery with tracking information supplied to us along with proof of purchase.
- Purchased items must be in the same condition as they were shipped. Insurance on the item is highly encouraged as we cannot be responsible for items that are not received.
- Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your return/refund.
- We will cover shipping to send the replacement item if you received an item that is defective in a way that we agree upon. In that case, the item will be replaced (if possible) or you will receive a refund or credit.

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
• Custom made, sized, personalized or altered items are non refundable 

Refunds

Once a refund is approved, it will take approximately 3 days to process. There is a 15% restocking fee for all approved refunds. A credit will automatically be applied to either your credit card or other original method of payment. 

*Note* Though the credit has been issued by us, your financial institution may take up to two-weeks to process and post to your account. Please allow up to 14 business days before reaching out to us regarding a “missing refund.”
